OPK - Do I really have to hold it for that long?

I bought the digital clearblue ovulation tests and they say I should hold my urine for AT LEAST 4 hours before I test. I'm lucky if I can go 2 hours during the day! I've been testing in the afternoon for a few days now.

Do you ladies actually follow that rule? Any tips appreciated!

I use it first thing in the morning. I used it in the afternoon and got a O then tried next morning and got a +.

I never follow the rule!! lol I also find that fmu is no good for me - opk or bfp wise. Smu is the best time of day for me...that usually comes about 2-3 hours after my fmu lol.

Thanks ladies! I have 14 OPKs left, so I may test in the AM and PM from now on. I just find the once a day afternoon is not a very good fit.

Then I'm buying the cheap ones

Lol I found using cheapies til my line got darker then confirming with clearblue was really accurate and more cost-effective

I didn't always get a true + with the cheapies even when I got a smile on the better tests lol

I also use OPKs in the morning, if I didn't I would of completely missed my surge! x
