Hey ladies
first month ttc with hubby, I have sort of regular albeit long cycles ranging from 33-35 (on average) days. Started taking fertilaid a couple months back to help regulate then (and fertilaid cm since I never see that holy ewcm). I can attest to both that I've regulated and actually produce ewcm now but that's not why I'm posting!
Just looking for a little insight. Because of my cycles I never really know when I ov and I don't think checking CM is reliable either for me since it ranges. Temping is impossible due to shift work!
I started using opk (Internet cheapie from Fairhaven health) and out of curiosity I tested cd11, to my surprise I saw a pinkish test line form! Cd11 seems ultra early for a gal with 30+ day cycles to start ovulating so I let it go. On CD 13, curiosity got the best of me and I tested again to come up wth a 75% there dark line (but in opk land, still a negative). I continues testing once a day, afternoon/eve until today (CD 17). Since 13 the line had gradually faded now to an almost, barely there line, even lighter than cd11.
In my mind I feel like it's too early to have ovulated around day 14? Even though that technically perfectly average, but not if you have a 30+ day cycle?!
To b safe we did the deed CD 13, 14, 15, 16 (break tonight). I just need some opinions- zero ovulation or maybe I missed the surge? I feel like if I'm approaching ov the test line should at least be kinda pink at this point instead of fading to nothing.
Not sure if this OPK has just complicated things more or helped me nail ovulation this month, maybe I ovulated early all along?
Thoughts? Sorry for the long post!
