OPK question

Earlier today I used an OPK and it was very much a positive and I did one later on today just to see and it was a negative.

Can you really hit your surge and pass it within a few hours?

I've had pos opks even pos digital ones one pee then holding it for hours negative I did not ovulate them times..I've had it happen a few times over the last few cycles. your body can gear up then not ovulate its not until Ive had a full day of positive test that I did ovulate that day or the next..of course you could have caught your surge going down did you do one with in the 12 to 24 hours before your pos one?

It really varies with each woman how long the surge lasts. Are you 100% sure it was a positive? If it looked like it MIGHT be, but is off just a little, its a negative and that means you still have a BFP coming GL!
