Well another cycle has come and gone and it appears we are out.
I have been trying to look up different supplements to help overall fertility for my husband and myself and am looking for assistance.
This is the month that we are going to do it all, because doing the same thing every month is beginning to feel fruitless. LITERALLY
So ladies lets figure out what works and what doesn't and share some successes with the different things that we have all tried or things that friends have tried.
B6 vitamin complex: B6 can help lengthen the luteal phase of your cycle and regulate blood sugar levels.
- I took this for a few months but didn't see to much of a change in my LP but overall felt better mood wise feel will keep taking this.
Evening Primrose Oil: lowers cholesterol, helps to alleviate premenstrual syndrome symptoms and aids in the production of fertile quality cervical fluid.
- I took this but found the aftertaste super gross. I also didn't see much change, but was a little bit wetter. Have to remember to stop taking after you O.
Maca Root: Maca has the ability to affect key hormones in both women and men without containing hormones itself.
Supports normal sexual function
- I have not tried this, but am really interested in learning more about this
Red Raspberry tea - haven't tried havent really heard any success stories
MEN
Vitamin C: (2,000 to 6,000 milligrams daily) helps prevent sperm from clumping or sticking together.
Zinc supplementation: (100 to 200 mg daily) has been shown to increase testosterone levels, sperm count and sperm motility.
WHAT HAVE YOU TRIED?
If you can, copy and paste text directly from articles so that we can all see the benifits or at least what people are "claiming" the supplement does!
Baby dust for all!
