I wasn't sure where to post this, but was hoping for some advice from those that have gotten their BFP!

I had a chemical last cycle and one of my friends sees a homeopathic lady who recommended organic progesterone cream when she went into early labor. It worked and helped stop her contractions. She did also tell her that it can be used once you find out you're pregnant to help you keep a pregnancy.

Has anyone here used progesterone cream after ovulation and gotten a BFP? Does it hurt you or the baby if you ended up not "needing" it or is it like other vitamins and supplements that your body gets rid of if you don't need them? How often did you use it?

Thanks for any help you can offer!! :flower:

Yes! I used wild yam progesterone cream after O to help conceive. I have been takin it every day since then. I'll continue at least through the first tri, and perhaps through the whole pregnancy. (maybe will get a sense of how my bloods look at that point). I don't think the extra progesterone can cause harm. This has been recommended to me by another woman who was having a hard time getting pregnant. It worked for her and now 5 other people she recommended it to!

Let me know if you have any more questions.

That's awesome to hear! The one I just ordered is from Organic Excellence and is derived from wild yams. Fx! :)

Also, I take it once a day (you can take it up to 2x but I wanted to start with a lower dose). And you should alternate the location every day, so your skin doesn't get "used to" it. I do: L inner thigh, R inner thigh, tummy, L inner arm, R inner arm, neck. Repeat. Good luck and let me know it goes!

Good to know. I had no idea. I was just going to do neck but I will alternate instead. It can't hurt!

How much do you use at each application? Mine is coming in a tub. Or are there instructions on it?

Mine was a pump that gives a fixed amount each time. But I am sure yours comes with instructions.
