Other gender theories...

Does anyone else follow any of the other gender theories (chinese calendar, moon phases, moon signs, biorhythms, etc)? If so, were they right for you?

For me, the theories that were right with both my boys were:
- chinese calendar
- moon phases
- moon signs

Theories that were right for one but not the other (or all together wrong!):
- biorhythms
- mayan calendar
- heartrates

So I'm the only person who believes in other theories or is at least holding out some hope on them???

not sure about moon phases/signs (not sure when conceived) never heard of biorhythm nor mayan calendar as a gender predictor, but the Chinese calendar was correct with my 1st and incorrect with my 2nd so 50/50 there,and the rate was also incorrect for my 2nd, don't remember my first!

I'm not into any if the other theories although I did watch something on tv years ago which was trying to explain conception.

A female sperm is slow but save energy & can survive up to 5-7 days & a male sperm is fast & can only last 2-3 days.

With my daughter me & OH DTD all week except for the 3 days that counted because we were at his parents.
This time we waited until I got my positive OPK & only DTD 3 days when most fertile & are now having a boy.

Do you know when you conceived vs DTD?

I love baby gender guesses!

I have done many of them and some sway to girl and some sway to boy. I have a gender scan tomorrow so I am anxiously waiting. SO to kill some time I thought I would do some gender prediction guesses.

Chinese calendar: I did 9 of them and 5 said girl and 4 said boy.

Ring on string: Girl.

I haven't heard of moon phases to predict gender and so I looked and my conception date was right smack on a full moon: Boy.

Again never heard to use biorhythm chart and did not know how so I found this:

1. click this link: https://www.cycletourist.com/biochart

2. where it says 'create a biochart' there are some boxes to fill in underneath

in the first box name: obviously your name but its not important

in the second box birth date: select YOUR birth date

in the third box chart date: select the month and year you concieved or ovulated

in the fourth box Lunar cycles: select your timezone! for the UK it's GMT: 00:00 not sure what it would be for other countries?

3. click the button that says bio chart and a weird chart appears with green red and blue lines.

IGNORE the green lines.

If on the day of conception:

the blue line is in the top half and red is in the bottom half it predicts BOY

if blue and red lines are both in the top half it sways towards BOY

if blue and red lines are in the bottom half it sways towards GIRL

and if the red line is in the top half and the blue line is in the bottom half it predicts GIRL

also you see little moon shapes. apparently this bit isn't *as* accurate but still predicts gender.

white moon = predicts boy
grey moon = predicts girl

My results for the chart were: it sways towards Girl
I also had a white moon: Boy

Hubby and I both think girl and hopefully baby cooperates tomorrow so we know for sure!
