Other kids anxiety

My kids have always been good sleepers (even when they were tiny) but over the last few days my DS2 (who is 8) has been unable to get to sleep until 3am and my DD1 (who is 4) has been very unsettled. It's leading to lots of tension and arguments because I'm not sleeping either (and haven't been for months)

The only thing I can think of is that it is some form of 'new arrival anxiety' I have tried to reassure them and give them both lots of time and cuddles, but it's very exhausting.

Has anyone else experienced the same? I hope it settles soon.

Sorry, don't have any other children, so can't help, but didn't want to read and run. I hope you find a solution to the problem soon though x x

Funnily enough my daughter keeps waking in the night suddenly and for no reason. Sometimes it's for a wee or a drink but more than often it's for nothing. Didn't connect it to Ollie coming soon but maybe it is??? x
