Hi ladies,
I am two days into my attempt to stop breastfeeding after 6 monthsas I am returning to work. DD has been fine and I'm feeling ok(ish) about the end of our special time. I have replaced feeds very gradually and last night was the first night without feeding. I was very engorged the day before yesterday, less so yesterday and not today. However, the area around my nipples is very very sore and lumpy. I'm guessing this is the ducts as when I touch them I leak lots (sorry tmi) is it normal for this kind of stingy pain and slight redness? I haven't had mastitis or anything so not sure what to look for or do. Thanks in advance!
