Okies, firstly im gonna apologise to you girlies and my little Bubs coz the second i fell pregnant i said id never complain about a single symptom and whenever i dont feel movement i panic and get upset....BUT can someone please give me some advice on how to get the baby to move position??? Ive tried pacing the floor, laying different ways, coffee, rubbing my tummy, prodding it slightly nothing has worked...the way he's lying he's kicking right above my right hip bone and i dunno what nerves there are there but he's knocking them and it really hurts :( I had like 3 hours sleep last night coz i was so uncomfortable coz when i lay on my right side it was making him kick more so ive spent the whole night on my left side so my left hip is agony....i thought moving about all day at work would cause him to shift but he's clearly very comfortable.....just wish i was :( x

sorry chic...i'm no help at all. Its my 1st and i'm still waiting for it to move !!!!

OOh...hope yopu get compfy soon xx

dont know what to suggest you've done all the things i would of done maybe try a bath later? other than that keep up the prodding show him it's not that comfy there after all lol x

Because I have an anterior placenta I don't really feel him kicking, I just feel him moving around. And the way everyone is going on about paintful bladder, hip and rib kicks, I'd quite like it to stay that way haha xxx

haha nah its such an amazing feeling hun...just sometimes hurts lol x

Ohh I've had this and the only way I could get it to move was to go on all fours on the floor and arch my back and then relax it after a couple of times the bambino moved!

Hope you can get that little one to have a jiggle around.

massage the area where hes laid, and try and encourage him to move over by gently dragging your hand over while massaging it, works for me when hes sat directly over my bladder lol xx

A girl in my work is having painful stuff like this too and she's almost 24 weeks, sounds awful lol but I can't wait for all that stuff to start for me! I'll probably be sorry when it does though!

Ouchy!!! My little man does this too! He has a habbit of wedging himself down about my right hip and it is really uncomfy!! My sister told me to do this and it worked for me so worth giving a try. I lie on the floor on my back, put the bottom half of my legs up on the couch and then lift my bum off the floor, or else I put my back on the sofe and lift my ligs over the back of it so my head is over the edge upside down!! Your huby will think you have cracked up but trust me if it stops it you'll do it!!! lol

Also at night time I put a pillow between my legs and under my bump seems to stop him wiggling into my hip.

Hope it helps xx

thanks girls all gr8 suggestions ill try them after tea :) xx

Maybe let you tea settle before trying mine or it could be disasterous!!!! lol

my friend was told to place a hot water bottle under the bump but not directly on it...the buba is meant to move away fron the heat???It worked for her!!!Hope you get him moved soon!!xx

Ugh, mine does that. I just apply pressure with a few fingers (I can usually find a baby part in there) until she gets the hint and moves.
She was obviously (to me) lying transverse the other day and I felt so crap because of it I was crying off and on the whole day until I got her to shift.

I get those! And I put two fingers there and push and she kicks and kicks, but eventually moves away!

the only time my baby moves position is when they want to i think..i got a bit worried before coz baby used to only stay on the bottom right hand side and i tryed everything until one day i woke up and it kicked my left side i was like:Dbut hope baby moves soon:Dx
