Glad it seems to be going well. I tried this for two days, day and night and I caved, I wish my husband would help as I think I could stick to it a bit better then. The first night took three hours to get her to sleep. I lost count of pick ups. The second 2.5 hours. My little girl just wants to play and crawl around her cot when I first put her down so I just leave her until she gets grumpy. She likes to spit her dummy out of throw it out of her cot too. It's so hard with all their developmental changes/teething and growth spurts to know if its ok to keep continuing.
At the same time I was trying wake to sleep to try and get rid of some habitual Wakings and that worked really well. She was going to sleep around 8 then sleeping until 3, I'd then bring her into bed with me at around 5 when she'd just fuss and struggle to settle. So hard being determined with pupd at 5am!
I think I need to start it up again!
