Hi everyone,

Just a quick question...how do you warmk your babies bottles when you are out and about? At the moment I carry around a flask of boiling water and a little pot to warm the bottle in. I usually take ready made formula with me as they are so handy. I saw someone with a Tommee Tippee Travel Bottle Flask yesterday and just wondered if these where any good. Any tips would be great! Thanks!!!

I have one and like it but they are £10 so not cheap

I heat the water up before I leave. I have it a lot hotter than I would give him and put it in the thermal bag (it still loses heat but not as much). If I'm out a while, I'll take one very warm bottle and one full of boiling water. He has the cooler one first, then 3 hours later when he's due again, the boiling one will have cooled enough to be ok to use. The thing I find is it's easier to cool water down when out than to heat it up! I take some formula in those little tubs from Boots and it's pretty easy and manageable x

My thermal bag is an avent one btw

I had a thermos flask bottle warmer with my DD but cant find it for my little man as yet and don't wanna fork out for another one if I find it (another thing on my to do list lol!) I found it was worth its weight in gold. At the mo I'm just taking a bottle with cool water in it and a dispenser (Morrisons have one for £1.99 rather than £4 odd in boots) as hes only a month old and haven't really been out to the shops much. When I went out this week to the town I went into Mothercare where they have bottle warmers and fed him in there.

I use a fisher price bottle warmer flask and put a bottle from the fridge in a avent thermos bag or alternatively if i'm popping somewhere and i know LO will be due a feed very soon I warm it before I go and put it in the thermos bag to keep warm.

If we are only going out for a couple of hours i only take one bottle, heat the water up before then take the powder in the TT dispenser and pour it in :) but Now jayden has between 6-8oz so i just take a carton with me, he doesn't mind his milk not warm x
