ov before EWCM?

Is it possible to get EWCM but have ovulated BEFORE the EWCM?
I get EWCM every month and BD on and around the time of it.

I've read that you can get EWCM but it doesn't always mean you release an egg it is your body gearing up for it.

So I just thought maybe I ovulate early on in cycle yhen get ewcm at around CD 15 but have already ovulated..?

EWCM is a sign of fertile window but still in order to pin point ovulation you should use reliable methods like opks or bbt.
The ewcm timings can be off for some ladies, esp if they don't check their cervix.

YES u can get EWCM or fertile CM for up to 5 days b4 u O

No my question is can you ovulate before getting EWCM... NOt the other way round. I have done opks and temptng but both negative.

No as EWCM or watery CM is ur fertile CM so once u have O'd ur CM will change

Cervical mucus changes in viscosity throughout a woman's cycle. When an egg develops in the ovary, estrogen is released, making the mucus thinner and slippery. This enables sperm to swim to the egg more easily. After the egg is released, a spike in progesterone causes mucus to thicken nd act as a barrier to other sperm.
