Hi girls,:hi:

As u all know, I have been feeling very down since a while ago.. I am working on keeping my chin up and cleaning out my brain..

I have been worrying about this issue... TMI

When I went to see my doc, it was the day I had my Suction and Curettage, it was Cycle day 3 and before I had the small surgery, the u/s technician told me that there was a follicle measuring 1.5cm and that it wasnt good.

Then when I saw my doc, he told me that I needed to take a month of BCP to destroy that. Then I had my u/s again after the curettage and they didnt mention about that 'thing'. I dont know what that really was.. I asked my doc if it was a cyst, and he told me not to worry as it was small.. It could be a follicle that got mature from last time but hasnt been absorbed by my body so I told him to just put me on BCP to get rid of it, but he said there is no need as it was small so maybe this time it will fade away.

I have been reading of ovarian cyst today and read that symtomps include feeling bloated, feeling nauseas/vomiting, pain, bleeding in between cycles, etc.

I wont lie, I have been feeling nauseas like since two days ago and I felt as if I was going to faint a couple of times.. Today I felt small twingie feelings, like pulling sensation on my lower abdomen so what if I have ovarian cyst?

My doc advised me to see him on my next cycle, if I dont get preg, at CD10. If there is a cyst, which means if that thing increased in size, then he will have to put me on BCP.. and here I am nervous about that issue bec it will just take time and my BFP just seems to be far far far away.

Someone please could advice me on this issue? Anyone who has had or have cyst?

I dont really know much about them but i hope someone else can answer your questions.

Puking and dizzyness sound like pg symptoms to me. Sure youaren't just pg?

I am on CD9 so I dont think so... and we havent BD for like 2 weeks bec of my miscarriage

I have an ovarian cyst at the moment and I'm pregnant. It was seen on my first scan.

I do get little twinges of pain but nothing that bad and it's probably just pregnancy pains. Sometimes cysts hurt or bleed and others don't do anything but most go away on their own. Theres also lots of types of them. They're mostly all follicles but I think are only called cysts when they get past a certain size.

If the doctor thinks a month on the bcp is the best way to deal with it then I'd go with what he says. There are different treatments depending on the type of cyst. At least if you get it sorted now you won't worry about whether it's affecting your ttc.

I know it's then another month to wait and whilest ttc it's frustrating because you sometimes feel like you'll never get there but when it happens you won't care that you had to wait.

Good luck!! :hugs:

anita,
how much does ur cyst measure?

Mine was 1.5cm. Definetly a cyst then for me.

I think they normally only class it as a cyst once it's over 2cm but it's deffo called a cyst on my maternity notes.

Even though they go on their own it can take months so if you can have it treated it's better. Mine has just been left as I'm pregnant and I'll ask them to check that it's gone once baby is born.

I have ahd cysts in the past I am no DR but I can tell you what happened to me. I had one when I was 16 and left it go b/c we thought nothing of it even though I was suppost to get check after a month. Being 16 and not worried about worried about it It actually took over one of my ovaries and turned into a tumor (not trying to scare you) they ahd to remove it. My entire ovary. I now only have one. Anyways they put my on BCP to keep the cysts away. I have a condition (do not remember what it is called) but if I do not stay on BCP I get cysts, not lttle ones like PCOS but one big one. Anyways I had two problems since the first incident, I am 28 now, one bursts (did not feel great) and one they caught b/c I had chills, lost of appeitite and pain on my right side, only side for cysts. I get pain on and off but always go in for a u/s as sson as I call them. While TTCing I am off BCP so there is a chance I will get one, if I do they have to remove it ASAP so nothing happens to my remaining ovary. Cysts are very common in women and so go through life not know they had one b/c they are too small to make a different. when you ahev to worry is whne you have pain (lots of pain) and chills with or without a fever and lost of appeitite. I hope I did not scare you just wnated you to know this and you need to call you DR and get the facts from him and if you need to be a BCP to get rid of it then I would , I know that is not what you wnated to hear at all. But better them end up like me with one working ovary (thank God) and do not worry if you get pregnant the hormones pregnancy give off (much liek BCP) will make it go away or shrink. Good Luck

I had a niece who had a cyst (hers was the size of a grapefruit though, so much larger), she had it during her first pregnancy, didn't actually get it removed for several years because of money. I don't know that it directly caused any problems for her to get pregnant (she had endometriosis as well) but I do know that it caused her some pain. I really hope that you don't have this :hugs:. Keep us up to date.
