Over 35, TTC No 1 after loss - please join me?

Anyone in the same shoes? I finally fell pregnant after numerous IVFs at the age of 35 only to lose it at 18 weeks.

I had a delivery, not D&C and I have multiple fibroids, never the less I am willing to try naturally for a few months.

I am still waiting for my period, so that I can start charting. Being suspended like this is killing me lol

anyone with me?

I'm with you Have had two losses this year, one in April at 7 weeks, one in July at 9 weeks. The second one was particularly bad, as everything seemed to be going so well until I had the ultrasound and there was no heartbeat.

Had my first blood draw for RPL testing this week, and advised that we can start to try again if and when I feel ready. My body bounced straight back, AF arriving 28 days after I started bleeding with both mcs. And I did ovulate again the first regular cycle after.

It's hard waiting for your cycle, it might take a few with your loss being second trimester.

Thank you, I also heard it might take 8-12 weeks for AF for me. I can honestly say I have never waited for AF this impatiently

I hope you get pg with a sticky soon. Are you a natural TTC or assisted?

Sorry, been out of town working for a week

We've had 2 natural BFPs this year, both ended in losses. No problems falling pregnant but can't stay pregnant Started RPL testing but have been told most people never get an answer about the reason for the losses.

Now we will probably TTC naturally one last time, and if that ends in a loss look at IVF. I'd go for DE, my partner is less keen on that idea.

I have had my AF on the 5th. So CD7 here, however I am havine a saline scan on the 19th of September so I was told not to TTC this cycle shame... i am so hoping to fall pg naturally...

We spoke about DE (my sister's) and my other half is also not keen, he says we should try mine first for as long as we can.

Never heard of RPL testing, will look up now.

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Testing (sorry for acronym) that's for folk who've had a few miscarriages, I see you had one but later.

Do they know what caused your loss?

My OH not keen on DE either, but we've had two spontaneous pregnancies both of which ended in loss, and IDK if I can keep trying.

What tests do you have to get done under this RPL testing?

So I had the saline scan which showed lost of fibroids inside I will have to get a hysteroscopy done now to assess the damage but the doc thinks I will need a myomectomy to remove all fibroids -

so annoyed, its gonna delay my IVF even further.

Still waiting for post mortem results to come through, why is everything so slow?? its been 7 weeks, surely the results should be ready now.

Hi ladies,

I am in a slightly different boat.... I am 34 and ttc 2. However I have been ttc for a year now, I got one bfp but had a mmc at 12 weeks in January and nothing since.

We are currently undergoing tests, my cd3 and cd21 bloods came back normal and my scan was fine. Next steps are that hubby has a sperm analysis tomorrow and I then want to push for a lap and dye to check my tube (I only have 1 due to large ovarian tumour 12 years ago).

So I'm cheating slightly as I'm a year too young for this group and ttc 2 but I feel like I've been trying too long for the ttc threads now and I'm looking for some longer term ttc ladies of a similar age to me. Hope you don't mind!!

I'm trying soy isoflavines this cycle to see if I can kick start a good quality egg with a better corpus luteum to give me a decent lutuel phase as mine have been max 10-11 days since the mmc. Xx
