Hi
Have any of you noticed reduced movements after over exerting yourself?
I went to the beach with friends yesterday and had to trek uphill with my bags a bit. I was out the entire day and was exhausted when I got home. I also had 2 cups of coffee (I usually have 1 a day) and a bit of a temper tantrum at night with my husband. Since I got back yesterday I have barely felt the baby move. Maybe two kicks since yesterday evening. Should I worry? Im 22w today

If you're worried, it always helps to call your doctor for reassurance. But yes, I have noticed a correlation between my activity level and the baby's. It does seem like the more I do, the less he does. I believe it's because it sort of lulls the babies to sleep when we're up moving around and being active. Also, at 22 weeks, it's totally normal to feel the baby a lot one day, and then hardly at all for awhile.

I have been away this weekend and up and walking around all day for both days. In the evening between the two I thought I hadn't felt him much all day so tried to pay attention and I could feel him moving around a little bit definitely not as strongly and as much as normal. But today now I am home and settled on the sofa for a couple of hours he has been wriggling as much as normal. So yeah I would say I have noticed a link but if you are still worried in a bit maybe give your midwife/doctor a call, they will be able to give you better reassurance than us I am sure.
