My waters have broken and contractions are getting regular now, almost at the hospital, fingers crossed I've progressed enough to go straight to the birthing room.

Baby was born Tuesday morning. We're still stuck in the hospital though.

I have to have an iron infusion (two bags of blood wasn't enough to get my haemoglobin up apparently) then I'm good to go but I don't know about baby, waiting to hear if they think he's gained enough weight.

Hey all!

So sorry i never came to check back in.

When I last wrote I was off to the hospital to be induced.

I had the pessary at 2.30pm last Sunday. Contractions started 6 hours later at 8.30pm. Mucous plug and waters immediately broke at 1am and baby followed at 4.42am

Labour....well I didn't expect that kinda pain! Did it on pethadine only and all the hypobirthing went right out the window haha. So sad about that but glad I didn't get the epidural.

Baby girl Ella is doing great. We had to stay in hospital until Wednesday evening and that was horrific for me. Trying to put the bad experience behind me and enjoy our little angel!
