Hi,
Does anyone know whether a previous c section affects the length of time they will allow you to go over? Also, I've been reading that you can't be induced if you've had a previous section, because of risk of scar rupture: is this true? I only went 2 days over last time and managed a successful vbac, but my consultant says it's still a trial of labour this time as there's still the scar issue... Just trying to prepare myself in case this one doesn't get started by itself!!!
Anyone have any experiences/insights? Thanks ladies!!

They should not induce you if you are a VBAC as the contractions will be stronger and more intense than they would normally, which increases the risk of rupture. They should treat you like anyone else in that they shouldn't offer induction/c-section until 42 weeks. They should also offer you monitoring if you don't want induction/c-section.
