ovulate before positive opk?

Hi ladies I am so confused. FF says I ovulated on cd 18 And if you look at my chart it clearly looks like I did. But my opk was darkest on cd 20. I started progesterone suppositories cd 22 and I am supposed to test 14 dpo if it's negative I stop the progesterone so AF comes if it's positive I continue to take it. I just don't know exactly when to test. I have 1 FRER to use I am so afraid I will test and it will be to early. I don't know what to go by why would the opk be almost positive after ovulating. It never got completely positive and the next day it was completely negative. Is it possible to have an lh surge after O?

Yes it is possible to have an LH surge after you O! The surge is there to make your body O but the levels do not go down as soon as O happens. For example, im not trying at the moment but when I was trying to conceive my LG I O'd on CD18 but I had pos OPK's from CD16-20. I would go with FF as I definitely helped me pin point when I O'd and ultimately conceived good luck x

Thank you Tess! I've never been a fan of opks to begin with so I'm going to stay positive and just see what happens.
