today, day of retrieval, doctor saw that one follicle was already gone.
this actually wasn't even the lead follicle two days ago; it sped up and "took off."

there were still two on the other side, so she retrieved those, plus a smaller one.

after the procedure, she said the two were mature.

my question is, how much the ovulation decrease the chances for the other two? i don't think the two mature follicles were optimal size, but they were mature.

the waiting game is already stressful, but i was thrown for a loop, so it's making the wait a little more challenging:nope:

any gals with the same experience?

Hi, I dont have any experience with this but didnt want to read and run :hugs:
I've had ER twice and both times I worried that I would have released eggs early, not sure whether or not it's common but it's something I was nervous about.
The fact thay you have 2 mature eggs is excellent news, good luck with fertilisation, were they performing ivf or icsi straight away? xx

Thanks for replying. Later in the day I found out that the dr actually got 3 mature eggs.

Today I found out that all three fertilized (via ICSI)!

Just waiting to talk to the doctor now about steps for transfer.

Thanks again for replying. I wish you luck and send lots of :dust: for your journey.

That's excellent news! Hoping for 3 good strong embryos for you! Xxxx
