Hi

I had a chemical pregnancy at the end of January after ICSI and so have been trying to relax on the whole TTC thing this month. Typically on tues night i noticed some intense aching around my left ovary area so did an OPK which was fairly strong, on weds morning I had a really sharp pain again in the same area - the pain hasnt come back since. This morning I have pink blood when I wipe, more than spotting but not enough for a pad. Do you think this ovulation bleeding after my ovaries taking a battering after the IVF treatment? Or is the start of AF (I am CD22 today)?

I have never experienced anything like this before as I normally have anovulatory cycles so its all a bit weird and new to me. As luck would have it DH have a few days off this week so timing wise its perfect :winkwink:!! Any advice/guesses or similar experience would be appreciated. So much for 'forgetting' about baby making this month huh ?!!

Thanks,
Moo xx

Seems odd that you've had this now but never before. Just hope its a few juicy big eggs you've just ovulated and CAUGHT!

Good luck and enjoy yourselves :winkwink:

i've no idea silly, have never experienced any bleeding at ovulation, but knowing what our poor bodies have been through nothing would surprise me!

Hi hon

It's not quite the same as you but... I had a miscarriage after IVF last year and since then I have started having some mid - cycle spotting. Although mine is on about CD 9 or 10.
I'm wondering if maybe it's related to the IVF / miscarriage, which may be similar to you having had the chemical?
Sorry that's not much help! I wonder if anyone else has had this xx

No idea as never experienced spotting mid cycle, but nothing would suprise me after IVF and was an intense experience for the poor ovaries..

Hugs xx
