Ovulation pain?!

When is ovulation pain normally occurring?! Meaning how many days before ovulation?
Been having ovulation pains all day on/off on my left side. Im CD7 today x

You can ovulation pain a few days before ovulation, when you actually ovulate or afterwards. Unless you are temping and doing OPKs then you wouldn't know when.

I usually cramp lightly the day before then a lil stronger the day of, I use opks.

I did a OPK yesterday and it was negative. X

Depends on the person and depends on the cycle. I've had cycles where I had O pain the more than a week before and after ovulation. I've had some cycles where I have O pain only a day before and day of O'ing.

I never really paid attention to my ovulation pains as we weren't trying for another one until this cycle x
