Ovulation test incorrect?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced getting a positive on an ovulation test, but actually ovulated earlier that the test indicated? My test was positive on day 14 this month, but I am wondering if I ovulated on cd9 because I had period like cramps that day and my mucus was the consistency I get during O.

Anyone? I am using Clearblue by the way. I know these have a good reputation for being accurate, but I wonder if anyone has experienced something like this? Thanks!!

did you do a test on cd 9?

are you temping in addition to the opks? i have had a positive opk and not actually o'd until 2 days later (verified by temps and twinges) but never o'd prior to a pos opk. unless you think there is a chance you o'd twice?
