Hi ladies! I am currently on CD16, after taking clomid 50mgs on CD2-CD6. AF finished on CD8 so I had my Fx for ovulation (and BFP of course!) soon.
I just purchaced the Clearblue digital ovulation test pack (with 7 tests included) and took my first test yesterday. I had a 'O' which is negative and when i looked at the strip there is a faint line confirming its negative.
This morning i did the same thing- first pee of the day- and still 'O'. This time the test strip is showing a line so faint its almost not there at all. Argh!
So im wondering have I missed ovulation?
Maybe i haven't O'd at all, I have PCOS and Hypo.
This month is the first i have charted BBT but its so over the place i dont yet understand it.
I have never really got any other signs from my body that i was O'ing in the past that I can recall but i had a laparoscopy done a while ago and specialist was very happy with results- says I have minor PCOS on a scale of no pcos-bad pcos. He is confident I will get pregnant.
Anyway sorry for the novel, ive attached a pic to show the past two days of tests, my question is- Do you think its possible I o'd early and didn't catch it on the tests?
Thanks so much!!!

the test lines on a CB digi don't really mean anything, it does say not to look at them (although we always do lol).

I'm afraid it's just a case of keep testing until you get your smiley face. your temps are still very low so I don't think O hasn't happened yet, as they will go up and stay up after O and drop again when AF arrives (or just after). Your temps will be on the low side as you have hypothyroidism, but you should still see a thermal shift after O as progesterone is a 'hot' hormone and makes your body temperature higher. how long is your cycle normally?

If your temping orally that can play a part in erratic temps as sleeping with your mouth open can alter the temperature in your mouth, i recommend temping vaginally next cycle (don't switch mid cycle or it will confuse the chart).

No, you haven't o'd yet.....it isn't uncommon for women with PCOS to ovulate in the 20 something's CDs on clomid. M temp always drops lower for a few days prior to ov which I see yours doing, so I bet it will happen in the next week!

if it makes you feel any better, I never was able to get a + OPK to save my life!! And I was obviously ovulating because I was getting pregnant, so go figure:shrug: Probably not the answer you're looking for, but as frustrating as it is (especially when you don't have regular cycles), just because you don't get a +OPK doesn't mean you don't ovulate.

Thanks for the reply! My cycles are very all over the place but i would say they are typically about 40-45 days on average. I really hope I will see a thermal shift since i am doing this orally, and i will take your advice and do it vaginally from next cycle. Actually the thought that because i have hypo. and low temps never crossed my mind! I was wondering why everyone else's charts i look at seem to be higher than mine, and i had oddly low temps. Thanks for suggesting that! :)

Thanks for your input, all of this is very new to me and is quite confusing. And i know that its ideal to chart for about three months to understand your cycles, but after TTC for some time now, I am getting impatient!
I need to take a breath and relax because that doesn't help either.

EDT: Im now wondering if i should get my CD21 test done if it looks like i havent ovulated? No point really? just wait?

if your cycles are usually 40-45 days long Ovulation is likely to happen around cd25-cd32 as LP is not generally longer than 14 days (they can be longer but not usually).. so counting backwards that would roughly be when it is more likely. So i would wait til you know/think you've ovulated and go on 7dpo as that's when progesterone peaks and will give you a truer level of how good ovulation was x

Thanks! My temps have been slowly rising for a couple of days now, but I dont know if that will mean i am about to O, as a lot of other charts show a strong surge in temps where mine seems gradual.
I will hang off with the blood test untill I can see on my charts that it looks like I have got there, so even if it counts me out this month ill use my refferal for the following month when i WILL O'. Im staying positive, see? Haha.
I just want to say that I really appreciate everyone's input here, I had no idea when I finally started testing for O, and info you find online seems only relevant to 'normal' women, not PCOS-ers like myself. Thanks again xox

Just want to wish you luck and just keep on temping and I would suggest getting some of the internet cheapies to test for ovulation. Then when you get a positive confirm it with the expensive ones. Thats what a lot of women have had success with.

You will get the hang of it, and it is good to see what your average cycles really look like especially if you have pcos.
Wishing you baby dust all over the place!

Thank you :flower:
I have just ordered a bunch of cheapie opk's so awaiting those. This morning when I updated my temps on my chart I got a crosshairs showing I have o'd! But i dont want to hold my breath on that because this IS my first month charting and it could be wrong. I have my Fx though!
