Ovulation tests ? Quick question , need answer pretty sharpish

Right I read somewhere that if your too early for a pregnancy test to do an ovulation test because it picks up on it at a lower level ? Is this true ? I'm 7(ish) dpo and i just done a o test and it's come up strongly positive , but my preg test isn't coming up and if it is it's super faint ? What do you guys know ? I'm pretty stuck at this point ?? X

I actually spent yesterday looking around the internet for information about this . Apparently OPKs do pick up hCG because it's so similar chemically to LH, but it usually takes a -higher- amount of hCG to get a positive strip. So an HPT would normally be positive before an OPK. OPKs can usually pick it up by the time your period is expected. There are other reasons an OPK could be positive... minor LH surges can happen at random times... but if you have a positive OPK and think you might be pregnant, I'd wait a few more days and do another HPT. 7dpo it's definitely possible to get a BFP, but for many women even if they've implanted by then it won't show up that early. OPKs do pick up HcG.

When I gt my bfp I did OPKs at the same time as HpTs for fun. The OPKs were always a little darker than the HPTs, but only by a little bit. They pick on on HCG, so if there is a line on an opk because of HCG, it will show in a pregnanc test too.

Some ladies get a surge of LH before their period, which is why an OPK is often positive days before AF

Well think I got a bfp today super faint could be line eye :/ not sure we will see x
