Ovulation tests

Hi. I'm new to OPKs so sorry if I seem to ask a lot about them.

I'm using the cb advance tests in the morning with fmu. And then in the afternoon I do an IC. So far I have had flashing smileys on the cb tests so still waiting for my solid smile but I'm only cd11 so there's plenty of time.

My question is do OPKs get darker gradually closer to ovulation because every ic I have done so far hasn't even had a hint of a second line but tonight's IC had a faint second line. I know this doesn't mean it's a positive I was just wondering if this could mean ovulation is close?

I think everyone is different but mine definitely got darker leading up to O time.
