Ovulation

Hi ladies

This is our first cycle TTC and I'm pretty new to all this and the lingo lol.

I bought some cheap ovulation sticks https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290435312196?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I have tried them 2 days in a row now with no positive surge, I'm due to ovulate on Sunday would I have a positive by now if I was due to ovulate? My periods have been a bit hit and miss the last 3 months.

A positive OPK is not a guarantee that you will ovulate. It's registering that you're having a LH surge and are 'likely' to ovulate with the next 12-36 hours. The best way to be certain is to take your basel temp along with an ovulation test (OPK) to be certain you have ovulated. Since your cycles are not regular this would be your best option. Your negative OPK means you aren't having a surge at the moment, but you could very well ovulate in the next few days. Good luck!
