I was made redundant end of last year and got a 'P45' any idea where I'm suppose to get my P60 from? I should still have one I assume?

Hun, I wouldn't worry about it. My old job (after 18 months of bullying etc etc) didn't give me one and I haven't felt confident enough to go back but there's a form for people that don't have a P60 to fill in, it was all pretty simple.

Hope that helps

Hopefully this link can help;

I think this is how it works - The P45 details income and tax for the tax year up until the date employment ceases (this is the one you give to your new employer so they know how much you have earned/paid in tax so far that year). The P60 is the income/tax paid for the tax year.

If you weren't employed by them at the end of the tax year (I'm assuming you mean the P60 for 5th April 2009), you wouldnt get a P60. (The website above says you are entitled to a P60 if you are working for the employer at 5th April).

Baci is right, you only get a P60 if you are employed at the end of the tax year.
