What items did you find helpful or were a MUST for you doing ur stay? Besides the obvious things. :)

I found it helpful that i never took too much stuff. I already felt annoyed about my exploding hospital bag all over the place as well as baby cot etc. I wish I had taken more nighties rather than pj's and a skirt rather than leggings to go home in even though i could pull leggings over the wound my belly still looked almost 9 months pregnant so no type of trousers werent going to not sit on the wound site. its easier to take a few baby outfits at a time and have a relative take them away and bring fresh ones. i also wish id took a nursing bra...

Straws, so I didn't have to move too much for a drink. Dressing gown to wonder about in. Think that's it tbh :)

Seriously the best thing for me was not taking too much stuff. I didn't really need any baby things because the hospital supplied me with everything, I bought an outfit for pictures and used the same one for the day we went home. The most important thing for me were slippers, nursing bra, some extra night gowns just to walk around in and my iPad.
