Hi girls, I'm having a really strong pain right across the top of my bump. It's constant, so doesn't feel like BH or regular contractions, but it's pretty strong. Was really bad last night, then got better, woke me up in the night with it again, and is now just sort of achey and crampy, not as painful.
Anyone experienced the same?? I don't want to have to drag my butt into the hospital to see my OB if it's just stretching or whatever but feels much stronger than that.
Anyone?????

I had something like this, from weeks like 29 to 36, where it was specifically the right side of my bump, at the very top and it felt like a burning, pulled muscle sensation when i did too much or moved the wrong way...i mentioned it to my ob and she didnt seem concerned about it...it seems to have gone away now.....if you are concerned about it, definitely it doesnt hurt to ask, im sure they would rather you ask than not :flower:

I had the same as Melly Belly, felt like burning, pulling pain. I still get it if I lay on my side and don't properly support my bump, or if I sit or stand in certain positions. I also mentioned it to my midwife and she was not concerned, saying it was probably baby pushing up. The area on the top of my bump that hurts will also tingle and go numb if I lay the wrong way and my midwife guessed it's just nerves/circulation and shouldn't be too big of a concern if it gets better when moving into different positions.

I think that's where all of our organs have squished into so if baby presses into it its going to hurt. My baby normally sits low so I don't get it too often but when I feel her stretch out I get that feeling too. And today my toddler decided it would be funny to smack me there and it's been aching since.
