pain and bulging of c section scar in second pregnancy

I had a c section with my first born who is three now and a handful yes lol......im currently pregnant with my second at 24 weeks and im experiencin some pain and bulgin of my old section scar, it can sometimes be consistant the pain or it can come and go. I have only just recently over the past few days noticed this bulging of my scar which wasnt there before.Has anybody else experienced this or can give any info xxx

I did get pain around my scar during my second pregnancy which the midwife said was because that tissue doesn't stretch in the same way as non scar tissue. I don't know anything about the bulging though. Have you mentioned it to your midwife?

I would suggest that you speak to your midwife. I didn't get any pain or bulging in my scar (i did/do get pain from adhesions though) so i don't know what it is but i do remember that the whole time i was in labour they were asking me if i was in any pain in my scar. It's definitely worth checking out even if it is just adhesion pain.
