Pain in the bum - literally

Hi Girls.

Bit of a daft one. I am having lots of what I can only describe as "the urge to poo" feelings in my bum. Its quite painful only at short intervals but its worrying me now

I also felt it yesterday in my abdomen but put it down to being in the car for 6 hours and then on my feet for 3 so just that "uncomfortable" feeling.

Im slightly constipated so I know it could be that but ive been the loo and still feel it now ?

Any advice??

Maybe you have haemorrhoids? They're very common in pregnancy, especially if you're constipated. Maybe get some cream?

No its not that type of pain its - oh its hard to describe - its like a pushing sensation !

Gas? It can feel pretty painful when you need to hold it in.

It could be your uterus contracting, which unless it has bleeding with it is normal throughout pregnancy.

Hmm, maybe it's something to do with the constipation then? It sounds very unpleasant for you. I'd mention it to my mw or gp I think.

Hmmm well had a poo (sorry tmi) and it has eased but still slightly there. I have a retroverted uterus (sits slightly back) and I wonder if its pressing lightly on my bowels !

Yes definitely go to see someone then. I know someone who had a bowel obstruction and it's definitely better to get it sorted sooner rather than later if it is that.

fluffy I have a retroverted uterus too and this happens to me too the same sensation and thats what i put it down too.... i am so constipated right now I have not pood for days....i need to try some rememdies...
