Is it normal to have quite a bit of pain around the scar area while pregnant and skin stretch/bump growing? I'm assuming it is but how much? Sometimes I think it's sorer than it should be...
I seem to remember being told any pain from the scar should be discussed with your midwife/doctor. Each time I've been in PAU they've asked whether I've had any. But I do think there will always be some discomfit from it .
I may call then - because my placenta is behind the scar - at the front. I get sharp pains when I walk sometimes too on one side.. I'll give triage a call tomorrow I think.
They said they would only worry if it hurt while in labour and contracting.. But it's soft and will just be internal scar tissue stretching as its less flexible x
I definitely have noticed stretching and pains associated with the scar My OB is insistent that it's all phantom pain, but I'm pretty sure it's definitely owie boo boo. Good to know that she's not overly concerned, though!
