pain when DTD.......didn't expect this

hi all
lo is 8weeks old and this morning my an dh DTD for the ist time since finding out I was pregnant.

I went into labour but was booked for a section as lo was breech and didn't get past 6 cm before theatre.

I had assumed that it was my scar area that would cause any probs and my other bits would be fine for DTD as had no stitches or anything.

but was actually painful this morning. not initially but he couldn't go all the way in.......it felt really tight and kinda burned if he tried......sorry if tmi.

is this normal, has anyone else had this!?

Totally normal! Happened to me too. Estrogen is depleted so it will feel dry causing the burning sensation. My advice is to keep doing it until its comfy for you again. GL

yep i had this too when we DTD at 8 weeks post section. I read up on it and its caused by the trauma of the section. they pull you about alot when delivering the baby which causes internal bruising ect. it was fine the 3rd time we did it

and me took a good 4 attempts for us to get going use lots of lube and go very slowly (might not be what he wants but you've had surgery he can wait a while) i had to get hubby to slowly enter me and then wait for me to become accustomed to him again but once you've done it it's fine also use lots and lots of lube x

my partner and i had sex 3 weeks after our girl was born, we were at a wedding reception that night so we got drunk and decided to DTD, felt like a virgin all over again! from what i remember yes it did hurt but was good at the same time, and many times after that!

Totally Normal! I think a lot of it has to due to the fact that your cervix dilated, and the surgery itself bruised you up!

they say its like being a virgin again, i totally agree! i didnt dtd until i was 7 months pregnant most awful experience ever!
