painful cramps at 24 weeks

ok so i'm actually 24 weeks till sunday, but today I've been getting very painfull cramps, it feels like period pains.
i'm pretty much curled up in a ball.
they don't seem to be coming and going just constantly there.
this is my 3rd and don't remember having these pains till my contractions were round the corner.
is this normal or should I be concerned?

I had this for about 3 days around 21 weeks. I could feel the baby moving a lot, and I didn't have any bleeding, so I figured it was just stretching. If you are worried it couldn't hurt to call your doctor/midwife.

he's moving, did have some spotting Wednesday and mentioned that to my midwie when I saw her that day, she just said if I get any pains or any more bleeding then to call her. i'm a bit worried to call her though.

You should definitely call, I have some cramping if I've done too much but it's more just uncomfortable rather than painful, especially since you've had the bleeding, I would definitely go in.

I haven't had any of the same pains today, back has been hurting and I've been feeling uncomfortable also been having quite a few Braxton hicks. I'm going to see how tomorrow goes as hubby is out airsofting and don't want to ruin that for him.
