Painful intercourse anyone else?

This cycle my husband and I did Femara and a trigger shot of HCG 10,000 IU on 12th.
We were told to have intercourse on the day of the shot and every other day till Sunday.

Last night was the first night of intercourse after the shot. It was so painful. (SORRY FOR THIS TMI.) It felt like every time he went in it shot a pain up through my left ovary. That happens to be the ovary with the two follicle on it.

Anyone have this? This is the first time for me. It was so painful I almost ask my husband to stop and afterwords I swear my ovary was throbbing.

Any thoughts?

Oh that sounds really unpleasant. I think you might have a cyst that is causing pressure and pain every time it is being pushed. It happened to me a few times with lutheal cysts. They go away after your period but they may rupture, which could be more painful and in rare cases even dangerous. I would go to an ultrasound just to be sure. Good luck!

I am working with a fertility specialist and having regular ultrasound sounds. I have 2 mature eggs on that side. I was wondering if the injection trigger shot made them swell.
