Painful movement at 16 weeks?

So I've been feeling the baby for about a week now but every once in a while I get these powerful movements that come out of nowhere and leave me with a muscular feeling of pain for a good half hour after. I never had this with my daughter that I can recall, but I'm pretty sure it is the baby as the feelibg is coming from right where the baby was at the ultrasound yesterday. Anyone else getting this? It scares the heck out of me whenever it happens.

I've had one painful kick so far but I have an anterior placenta so all movement is dulled anyway. Baby is still quite small though, so I'd probably get checked if I was you. Might be some inflammation in an organ nearby? It could also just be stretching pains though, I know mine used to be triggered by baby in previous pregnancies.
