Ok first off OW OW OW!!!!
I have this constant ache in my bump like bad period pains, every so often my bump goes rock solid, I've started feeling really sick too, what can I do to help ease the pain? Already had 2 paracetamol they've not helped at all x

If your bump is going hard it sounds like contractions. Time how far apart it goes hard. And the feeling sick is something your body does (sometimes) to help clear your system before birth. Also the cramping of your uterus can cause your bowels to cramp so you get the poos and sickness. Not nice!
Seems like it could be contractions to me, so stay calm and try and relax, drink some water and take a warm bath. That may calm the contractions, or at least relieve some of their pain.
Good luck

Thank you I will take a warm bath, times like this I hate having a huge one it takes soo long to fill! Since the pains started I've been to the toilet twice, sorry TMI!

With my last baby I was up all night on the loo, with my tummy clearly wanting to clear itself out. I was in agony, I have irritable bowel too so I end up with bruised guts- it's not good. I called the midwife to ask if I could take my meds for my guts to relax and she said she'd come round and check me over before I took them...but she needed to have a 'shower' first!!!! By the time she got there I was in labour and after only 20 mins of contractions I was 5cm dilated. I gave birth an hour later.
Our bodies know what to do, and sadly they can screw us over sometimes.
Get in the bath and chill out. And get a little clock in there so u can time the space between tightenings.
