Or am I just over reacting because of previous prem labour that caused a stillbirth.

I have a pain in the lower back of my tummy thats starting to cause me bother.....thing is I went into prem labour with my little girl at 24 weeks and 6 days for no known reason and these pains seem too familiar but Im not sure weather its just the way baby is lying or weather this is the start of it again-One thing I know for sure is I am shit scared!!:cry::cry::cry:

Go to hospital darling. I am sure it is nothing at all but you will only stress and that will not help either of you. I would go and get checked out and put your mind at ease. Sending love darling :hugs:

Im a state now, im crying, im shaking....i just a mess  im in pain but too scared to get checked out and I dont want them thinking im wasting their time x x

Please go the hospital. They will check you out and you will get some peace of mind.

We lost at 24 weeks too with our son. This time I was being seen at hospital 3 times a week throughout. They will understand how you are feeling. My consultant always said to me that she would prefer that I came in than sat at home worrying for 6 hours.

I did have some similar/ phantom pains this time around, especially at key times.

Are you being closely monitored by the hospital?

Let us know how you are getting on.

Yeah I am getting good care at the hospital and they have told me I can go anytime I want....but i know it sounds silly-im just scared to go for 2 reasons 1. I dont want them to feel like I am wasting their time as I know some MW's can be cows like that and 2. I dont want to have to re-live it all again....im too close to 24 weeks and 6 days again and im shitting it.....
i have pains in my back but I am not sure if my mind is making it seem worse than it is because of my history?

Im gunna give it 30mins then phone and head up x x

sweetie you have to go, ok? i know its hard and i cant imagine how scared you must be but there are things they can do to delay prem labour if you get seen to quickly. no one will think youre a time waster i promise xxxxxx

I had to go in at around 22 weeks because I had the weirdest feeling, like I could feel my cervix. My DH was not in the country and I had to go myself, and ended up being examined by the same doc who told us our bad news he last time. It felt like it was all happening again.

It is so scary but you do need to go. If the worst is happening then you need to get there asap so that you give them the best chance to stop things from progressing. Hopefully nothing will be going on and you will be able to get some peace of mind for a few days. (I say a few days because you won't get true peace of mind until LO is safely in your arms)

And if anyone suggests you are time wasting IGNORE THEM. Simply say you have been told to come in if you have any worries so you are here now. End of. The stress and worry are not good for you or LO.

Go up and be seen, mite just be Braxton Hicks but they are there to help.

Honey, please go in, even if it is just for peice of mind. If you're in and something happens there is more chance of them being able to do something than if you're at home :hugs:

I can empathise with that feeling darling, it is the same feeling which has kept me away from the EPU since 8 weeks and it must be so much harder for you sweetheart. I am sure you won't be there long darling but you need to have your mind put at rest. Sending love -x-

Wankers told me to taake a paracetamol and see what the pains like in an hour! What if thats too late then? Im a mess!!!!

You know what hun, ignore them, go to A&E. I'm not trying to worry you because I'm sure it will all be fine but you need to be seen if you're in a mess, for your own piece of mind. Otherwise can you phone medicom (UK)? Get them to book you in and they'll be waiting when you get to the hospital or was that who you spoke to? I always find Labour ward / EPU very quick to put you off going in.

Ignore them and get there. You have had this pain for a while now, it is not just happening so get yourself straight up there.

fucking wankers.

call NHS direct, hun. 0845 4647 they are brilliant with this sort of thing and they can refer you. either that or head for A&E xxx

thanks everyone. pains are no better so im going to head up. Will hopefully update later with good news x
