I am about 4 weeks going off my lmp (chemical last month counted as cd 1) and I have pain and pressure in my cervix which is making me worry. Last month before I started bleeding during the chemical pregnancy I had a lot of pressure and I'm really scared it will happen again :(

Hey there
<edited, i asked what kind of pain but you mention in your cervix> I had really intense sharp pain in my left hand side between 4-5 weeks. Felt totally wrong and suspected ectopic but it was fine. At 14 weeks i've had shooting pains in the cervix and all over the place. What I would say is that the cervix after an mc can be quite sensitive, even if it's an early mc, mine spotted a lot in early pregnancy as i'd had my mc the month before....so i think - it's a sensitive area. So, hopefully this is all you're experiencing x

I'm having sharp right hand pains, and twinges, I'm stressing it could be ectopic, but had 2-3 on the CB divi this morning which made me feel a smidge better but i know the GP wouldn't do anything if i went xx

If it carries on being one sided and you're still worried you can usually self-refer to your local early pregnancy unit. If you do a search for it you'll find a page with them in your area and whether they're self referring. Give them a call and explain the pain. I did that and they got me in a few days later. Hth x

The local early pregnancy units are a god send, I can't praise them enough! I miscarried back in May... Long story short it was a long process lasting around six weeks when I finally passed baby. Anyway, when I was 8 weeks with this pregnancy, I was so worried the same would happen and called EPU to speak to the lady that dealt with my MMC. She had me booked in for 9am the very next morning for a reassurance scan, all was well and Im now 24 weeks along! Any concerns you have dont hesitate to call them and they will do what they can to reassure you x

I have had all sorts of pains and pressures! Was especially worried about sharp shooting pains in what felt like my left ovary - all was fine at my scan and ruled out any thought of ectopic!

That's good. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow and I should be between 5w4d and 5w6d. I know I probably might only see the sac and yolk but those would be good signs. I am really hopeful to be one of those ladies who sees the fetal pole and a heartbeat :)
