Pap & Bleeding

Is it normal to have some bleeding after having a pap smear done? I had this happen to me & it made me wonder. I didn't think the doctor was rough at all & I didn't really feel any pain from it so I wasn't sure what to think. It was light red so not 'old blood' from anything that I could tell.

its totally normal to have sum light spotting afterwards, if i remeber rightly the nurse did tell me this when i went for mine

The bleeding happened about 4ish hours after the pap was done so I'm guessing it came from that. I'm pretty sure it did, it was just the first time this has ever happened to me so it surprised me I think.
