Hey girls,

How long did it take you to get your Los passport back once sent? The post office kept messing me around during the checking service (we didn't decide we were going away until a couple months before) yet they kept saying 'bring it back tomorrow, it takes 2-3 weeks max at this time of year' she 'promised' it'd be back in less than 3 weeks haha...

So I'm now waiting for it, how long did your Los take ? X

I've just renewed my eldest's passport and it took somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks to come back. I can't remember about his first passport tbh. And my youngest's passport i had to go to the passport office as i only realised i needed a passport 1 week before we were due to go away!

I always do the one week fast track

Definitely wasn't longer than 2 weeks and that was back in May/June so I'd assume that was a fairly peak time as well.

I asked to fast track it and they said I couldn't with a first time one :s x

My 2 took 10 days, should def get to you before 3 weeks I'm sure! X

So far it's been 11 days since I went to the post office so fingers crossed! X

My LO's first passport was back in a week xx

My LO was quite quick defo under 2 weeks and that was about April time so quite peak time.

My LOs took 10 days so not long at all. Hopefully it will be back soon

We just did ours beginning of October, it took 2 weeks to come back for both LOs first passports x

i did mine in october and had massive heart faliure over it as i had 6 weeks until we went away and it took them 5 and 1/2 weeks.

but that coz both me n OH are born after 1981 we had to provide loads of stuff on our parents and then they sent a letter to the countersig which got lost in the post twice.

then when they finally recieved everythin i had to pay an extra £60 to get it printed that day and sent out by courier.

(this was all on the check n send service as well.)

It took my LO's passport less than 2 weeks i remember it came real quick!

Im glad it came in time!

My LO's first one and my renewal took 10 days last December. I didn't use check and send though.

My LOs was about 3-4 weeks, but this was about may so im sure thats when the rush was on.
