Payment of income support

Can anyone tell me how this is paid? Weekly, fortnightly etc

Been told two different things by the job centre.

certain people can ask for it weekly - for example single parent ect !! (i asked my mate who works for income support x

mines every 2 weeks

They prefer to pay it every 2 weeks but will pay it weekly if your circumstances mean you desperately need it weekly xx
