Hi all,

i was diagnosed with PCOS around 10 years ago. I have recently come of the pill and had no period. It has been 8 weeks now.

i have been on agnus castus for about a week and i wondered how many people have found that this has worked for them? and how long it took?

Also do i stand a higher chance of concieving as i have lost loads of weight since being diagnosed and now weigh a healthy amount?

I've never used agnus castus, but I have PCOS but no weight problems. A lot of PCOS'ers get normal cycles after losing weight, but there are still plenty of us with very long cycles and no weight issues. If your cycle is now normal (maybe it takes a bit after stopping the pill) and less than 35 days, then you do stand a good chance. If your long cycles continue, then I'm afraid Clomid may be in order.

Hi,

I have long irregular cycles and started taking vitex last month to shorten them.the thing i have noticed is that the blood is fresh red coloured wherehas before it was a darkish red!!!!

It might be because of the pills or the fact that i am dieting and have lost 2 stone,i still need to lose 4 more to be a good weight but i know the more healthy weight you are the better it is for conception so i would advise still losing weight to conceive,it can only help.i dont have pcos.i hope you get your bfp very soon.all the best.xx
