pcos an metformin

hi ya

i just been diagnosed with pcos in one of my ovaries and my doctor has put me on metformin 500mg twice a day to help me conceive has anyone had these tablets an got pregnant ive heard some people it took 3 weeks to get pregnant on these that would be great but has any one on here had any luck with these

Some are lucky some not so. It did nothing for me in 9months and now I'm on clomid too. Good luck!

Metformin helped me, in so far as it helped me lose weight and regulate my cycles. Its not necessarily a miracle tablet though that works for everyone, and gave me some icky side effects to begin with.

It worked for me, I took it along with femara and got pregnant my 2nd cycle, it was ectopic but that had nothing to do with the metformin. The side effects were too strong for me to deal with though so I quit taking them.
