Hi, following recent scans which show I have potents PCOD, I am being referred for a number of blood tests. I had recalled the synographer mentioning tests on day 1-5 or there abouts.
GP confirmed ill be sent for blood work, didn't mention a date so when I asked he said middle of my cycle. (If in doubt go for the middle answer right...)
I couldn't help thinking this wasn't right particularly as being tested for progesterone which I know is day 21 for 'normal' cycles.
I rang today and spoke with another GP to check and she too suggested 21d for progesterone. When I asked re FSH and LH was that a 21 day or would it be CD1-5 she suggested I do it day 1-5 if that's what I think is best!
I have been ttc for 8 years - ivf x 2 - over stimulated on both occasions with imature eggs now looking at private. Annoyed PCOS not picked up before and GPs seem to have no real idea on what days the blood work needs to be done
Can you lovely ladies and gents provide some clarity?
