Sorry this is long and detailed. I tried posting in another section where I thought I might get some more answers but I got nothing. I'm hoping to get some sort of feed back
Quick overview:
August 2005 - Jan 2009 Lived with a boyfriend never used protection, actively tried to get pregnant, not a single BFP.
Jan 2009 diagnosed with PCOS (I was single hadn't met DH yet)
April 2009 seen a Endocrinologist briefly explained PCOS to me but no one ever put me on anything to control it (Metformin) Boyfriend and I broke up
May 2009 - Sept 2009 lost 50lbs
Fast forward to August 2011 - my now DH and I start TTC
April 2012 not a single BFP family doc referred us to a fertility clinic.
May 2012 - fertility specialist confirmed I do not have PCOS
May 2012 - December 2012 4 rounds of timed intercourse, all BFNs. Saline sonogram - all clear, HSG - showed blocked tubes - lap/dye showed tubes are not blocked no other issued found.
December 2012 - Current haven't done any treatments as my periods have been completely out of whack.
Ok brings us up to speed here. So my periods have become increasingly longer lately, just recently I started spotting Feb 27/14 had a "period" March 17th - March 23rd then spotting everyday after that till April 27th got my period again. Stopped May 2nd, no more spotting.
I went to my FS about the spotting and we did an ultrasound and found a 1.6cm cyst on my left ovary that was April 22nd.
They asked me to come back on cd 3 to start an investigative cycle, I go and have the cd 3 ultrasound and the cyst is gone. Doctor of the day said its a follicular cyst. . I mentioned to the doctor that I get a lot of pains on my left side (same side as the cyst) and my left side is always tender to the touch and sometimes I have pain and cant stand up straight or walk....he said it could be endo that I should meet with my assigned specialist and talk about possibly doing another lap surgery to see if endo is causing the pain etc. and told me to come back on CD 9, I did another ultrasound on cd 9 and it showed nothing is happening no follicles in the ovaries nothing, zip. Said to come back in 3 days....cd 12. That was yesterday. Again, nothing no follicles nothing happening. However, the "doctor of the day" that reviewed my ultrasound asked me if I have/had PCOS......which is strange because when I was watching the ultrasound screen while the ultrasound was being done, I saw snap shots of my right ovary and there with 3-4 little black marks in my ovary, I googled a PCOS ovary and it looked exactly like what I saw on the ultrasound.
So I have not a single clue what is going on with me. I've been told I have PCOS then told I didn't, to only be told I might
Sorry this is so long....just looking for any ideas or thoughts, similar experiences
