PCOS & endometriosis. 10yrs TTC and 2 failed Ivf attempts. Any advice!

Hi, thanks for reading my post.

I'm 36 and DH is 49. We've been trying to conceive since we got married 10 years ago. In this time my DH also had a spinal injury so now Ivf is our only option. Before the accident I was diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis and we were put on the Ivf waiting list.

We've just had our second failed Ivf attempt. Embryo quality was much better in round one.

Round 1: 16 eggs collected, 11 fertilised, 8 still going at 3dpo. 2 put back one 6 cell and one 7 cell. None suitable for freezing BFN

Round 2: 12 eggs collected, 5 fertilised, 5 still going at 3dpo. 2 put back both only 5 cell. None suitable for freezing BFN

For both rounds I had prostrap injection and burserlin nasal spray. 225m of Gonal f. I also had an endoscratch for the second attempt.

Has anyone got any advice before we try again? Anyone been in a similar situation and then been successful?

Although I have not done IVF yet ... I have heard through different journals that see C0Q 10 supplement does help egg quality and also motility with sperm. There is also an new article that suggest low-dose aspirin will help with the lining of the uterus and potentially make implantation easier.

I know you have probably heard all of these things and done them as well but I thought I would mention them. My heart goes out to you and I wish you the best luck. Baby dust

Thanks for replying and for your suggestions. I'll talk to my consultant about both of those suggestions at my follow up appointment. I tried asprin during the first round of Ivf and have recently heard about coq10 supplement but haven't tried it. I'm hesitant to start it until spoken to the consultant as worried I could be making my conditions worse if the stimulate hormones I already have too much of, if that makes sense.
