I got pregnant with the help of drs. 150mg Clomid, 10,000 iu trigger shot of Pregnyl, positive hpt Sunday Oct 19th, positive blood test this past Monday. I got my betas done Wednesday (156) and today (377) with a doubling time of 39 hours. It's my first, so I'm hoping all goes well! And congratulations!
Oh, thank God, I was hoping they'd do a good number of scans. I still can't believe this is real!
My fertility specialist wants to do his own scan November 7th. I have orientation with the OB clinic on October 29th and they'll set up my first actual prenatal appointment from there.
I only have experience with hypothyroidism ( it's severe and auto immune based) and I've had two healthy pregnancies/ babies, and am working on my third. Your thyroid levels should be checked frequently though ( I think like every 6-8 wks I get mine) bc your dose may be adjusted/ increased throughout pregnancy. But there is no reason you shouldn't carry a healthy baby.
Not sure about the combination with the other two things, but hope you have a doctor you trust! I'm sure they will monitor and guide you through
And CONGRATS!
I have pcos and IR. I'm on Metformin for it but studies have shown it actually reduces the risk of miscarriage. I had a completely problem free pregnancy with my son and anticipate the same this time.
Hi hun congratulations on your pregnancy! Great BETAs too
I am 32weeks along and so far so good, I have PCOS and Hypothyroidism without the IR. Because I am a bigger girl the DR's were concerned that I could develop high blood pressure, GD or pre-eclampsia none of which have occurred thus far, but my thyroid levels are checked regularly and are all good
I normally take Metformin for my PCOS but was told to stop taking it when I was about 15 weeks along and have not had any issues with being off it, including passing the GTT for GD twice.
Good luck
