Hey folks,

I have been diagnosed with this yesterday and told that this is the reason why I aren't conceiving. Everything else appears to be normal.

We have just got to keep trying I guess even after just under 3 years of trying. Is there any success stories you can share after LTTTC with this condition.

I would be very grateful.

My sis has severe pco ie couple of cycles per year i'm mild pco ie about 6 or 7 cycles per year. We have both conceived 1 naturally she had 1 with Iui and I await help with baby 2.

I have PCOS, and my husband has low sperm count and low motility sperm too, and we managed to conceive naturally. I was put on metformin, went on a low GI diet, upped my exercise, and took vitamin B6 and soya isoflavones. I had a little bit of weight to lose and doing all of these things I got my cycles down from over 80 days each to in the range of 30 - 40 days each and going by my dates when pregnant it would have been my first normal length cycle!

So you can definitely do it, I found doing some research and putting my energy into making as many positive changes as I could really helped me physically and emotionally! Good luck xx

Thank you so much! That has given me some hope. Tommyg good luck with baby 2. Thanks lady E, I could definitely do with losing a few extra pounds so I might focus on that and hope for the best.

xx

I have PCOS, insulin resistance, and hypothyroidism. I have had it for three years. I am on Metformin which did wonders for me. I get my period every month, and it really helps me control my weight. We were able to conceive naturally just this past year, and we are blessed with twin girls. It did take a while for the medicine to regulate every thing that was going on with my body. Also, I really became aware of what kinds of foods I was eating. There are some great books out there that will help with your diet. Good luck with your journey.

That is what I have also been diagnosed with, hypothyroidism, aw! im so happy you managed get there in the end and I really hope they put me on something soon so I can get my body back on track. :)
