Me & DH 34 with a 3 year old son conceived 1st month. Now ttc #2 for 10months. I have regular periods average 31 days, I bbt and it shows changes consistently each month, I OPK and always get my positive days, I have CM changes accordingly during the month. Got an ultrasound cd3 and I had 11 follicle on left with a cyst & 14 follicles right. Also retroverted uterus. All my bloods came back normal except elevated AMH which indicates i have high egg reserves, but from that I apparently have PCOS, even though i don't fit a typical PCOS case. DH sperm analysis came high count (200million) motility 50% but morphology at 3%. our son jumped on him 11 months ago (1 month before we started trying) and he caused a Hydrocele (fluid build up around teste), his urologist & GP say hydrocele doesn't cause the low morphology or sperm issues, yet common knowledge that testes need to stay cool and he has around 200ml excess liquid sitting around them from hydrocele and we are advised not to have surgery until pregnant?? Fertility specialist says with my PCOS (with regular periods & ovulation)? along with DH low morphology means we could keep going with no luck...:growlmad:.yet we had 1st baby basically 1st go 1st month. He has told us to go IUI or IVF. Too quick?? Im thinking I should do fallopian tubes flush incase my emergency c-section caused something 3 years ago before jumping on assisted fertility. Also we are thinking DH does the hydrocele surgery, get the testes cool again and hopefully help the morphology of sperm . Anyone similar case... I know maybe too far out for anyone to be in the same boat...tried also another forum. Any tips??

I have PCOS as well and I can tell you how they diagnose it. They diagnose PCOS if you have 2 of the 3 following issues:

-Lack of ovulation
-Hormonal problems, particularly testosterone. Or Insulin issues
-cysts on ovaries.

So, it seems you have 2 of those, thus the diagnosis of PCOS. My BFF also has it and she also has regular cycles. I don't on the other hand.

Im sorry but I dont know much about the other issue :( But I wish you the best!
